The east is different, it polarizes: being a popular night out address, design restaurant and hospitality destination with extraordinary attraction, its presence and highest gastronomic competence. 230 restaurant seats, 128 rooms, open since 2004 and still a crowd puller, even after 12 years. The man having the ideas of east and the other east cosmos concepts is called Christoph Strenger, meanwhile leader of around 400 employees.
After 12 years in dining and hospitality scene Hamburg, there happened a lot at the east. The range of lifestyle and entertainment got developed every year. The so called mother east has been expanded by different concepts like the restaurants coast by east having locations in the HafenCity and Mallorca, the coast enoteca at HafenCity, the Sansibar Wine at Mallorca, the clouds – Heaven’s Bar & Kitchen in the dancing towers on the Reeperbahn or the Langnese Café in the UnileverHaus Hamburg. All these outlets and the east are part of the east cosmos and offer different concepts realizing high-quality gastronomy in sensational locations.
The coast by east and coast enoteca combine to different concepts having one roof directly situated at the HafenCity. Located in an absolute dream location with view at the Elbphilharmonie, the coast on the top floor attracts fans of the modern kitchen and its exclusive, low-carb, asian food. The coast enoteca on ground level is the right address for all Italy lovers offering authentic Italian food as well as a great, exclusive variety of wines. The coast by east Mallorca is a kind of copy of the german concept from Hamburg, almost same style and food. Additionally, you find here the Sansibar Wine being located on the upper floor and well-known by the original on the island Sylt. Since last year, the pool area strand is a part of the coast area. In July 2016, the nightclub uppereast opened its doors here as well. Another project of the east cosmos: the clouds – Heaven’s Bar & Kitchen located in the dancing towers of Hamburg. Restaurant, bar and rooftop terrace as well as the event area are situated on three floors around 105m high. The highest gastronomic company in Hamburg that offers high-quality food out of the French kitchen.
Since 2016 our east manufactory realizes the entire preparation for all east cosmos outlets. The production of sauce bases, other basic products and the homemade food merchandise products are made here. The integrated patisserie produces a variety of dessert basics, chocolates and petit fours. Youngest member of east cosmos is the restaurant at the concert hall Elbphilharmonie, opening in November 2016. The restaurant Störtebeker Elbphilharmonie Hamburg represents the modern interpretation of Nordic lifestyle that can be experienced on three floors with a restaurant of 200 seats, one shop and a deli.
